This body is from 2019. From first owner who was extremely careful with it. The unit was delivered new by us at the time. Reason for selling: upgrade to ALPA Plus body. We have inspected the body and rate it: as new, with no signs of use.

The ALPA 12 STC (Shift Travel Compact) sets the standard for very compact and lightweight cameras with integrated shift (perspective correction). Thus, the STC also offers a stitching function and a corresponding multiplication of the number of pixels for one shot. A lateral lens shift is converted into an ascent or descent option by a simple rotation of the camera by 90°.

All ALPA cameras offer such surprising rotation and reversal positions, rotating from front to back, top to bottom, or from horizontal to vertical, for example. Typically, ALPA does not even need to list all the variations - most ALPA customers enjoy working out their unique combinations for their specific practical purpose. They - and we - don't have time for "one size fits all." Again: There can hardly be a more important difference from mass-produced solutions. In terms of design, the STC, like all ALPA cameras with an integrated shift, offers one feature that no other camera manufacturer has; All shifts take place along the entire length of the movement on roller bearings - not the cheapest solution, but certainly the most accurate.
